Automated DDS to SQL Conversion

It automates the process of moving from a DDS specification database to an SQL or DDL database, all without interrupting any of the existing programs or requiring a recompile of any of these existing programs. It also provides functionality to build Create-Read-Update-Delete type service programs automatically around the database design.

Generate Relational Mapping Objects

It generates Object Relational Mapping (ORM) objects for Hibernate. 'Hibernate' is an open source Java framework for working with relational databases.

Generate Database Service Programs

The Generate Database Service Programs module generates Service Programs for the specified database files based on the template specified. The pre-defined templates are:

• ZSTEMPLATE - this will generate an SQL CRUD service program
• ZXTEMPLATE - this will generate an SQL extended READ service program
• ZRTEMPLATE - this will generate an RPGLE CRUD service program
